The scientific work of the students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Programming Technology is the most important form of activation of independent work.
More than 35% of the students of the faculty take part in all forms of SRWS during extra-curricular time. The faculty has successfully functioning student research laboratories (SNIL): "Applied and system programming and new information technologies"; "Algebra and geometry of complex systems"; "Methodological problems of developing education"; "Mathematical and computer modeling of economic and stochastic systems". Students and undergraduates of the faculty take an active part in scientific and practical conferences and various exhibitions.
